The University and the School The master's degree is given at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). The lecturing staff is made of professors and senior lecturers from various schools at the UPM and several departments. It is deemed an inter-school degree. The participating schools are the same as those involved on the bachelor's degree in materials engineering:

Number of new student places offered Credits and teaching language The master's degree has 72 European Credit Transfer and
Accumulation System (ECTS). To access, the student must have at least 240 ECTS credits
obtained from bachelor's degree studies. The master's degree is designet to be completed in 18 months: the first year has
60 ECTS of lectures, then there is an aditional semester that is focused on the
required master's thesis. Lectures are given in Spanish and English. |
