Calendar 

This page shows the calendar for the course 2025-2026, according to the UPM regulations. We should point out the following periods and days:

Pre-enrollment

For the pre-enrollment and enrollment periods are published in the UPM web page: LINK. The master of Materials Engineering is a master Type "Anexo I".

Periods of lectures

The student should take note of the following periods of lectures:

• Lectures of the first semester: from September 3, 2025 to December 19, 2025.

• Lectures of the second semester: from February 2, 2026 to May 27, 2026.

Periods of exams

The calendar of exams has the following periods:

• Regular exams period of the first semester: from January 8 to January 26, 2026.

• Regular exams period of the second semester: from June 1 to June 16, 2026.

• Extraordinary exams period of both semesters: from June 24 to July 10, 2026.

Holidays and non-working days

• Beginning of Christmas holidays: 20 December 2025 (Saturday)

• End of Christmas holidays: 7 January 2026 (Wednesday)

• St Thomas Aquinas Day: 28 January 2026 (Wednesday)

• Beginning of the Lectures of the second semester: 2 February 2026 (Monday)

• Activities at Caminos School: 18 February 2026

• Beginning of Easter holidays: 30 March 2026

• End of Easter holidays (lectures resuming this day): 7 April 2026

• Workers' day: 1 May 2026 (Friday)

• Local holiday: 2 May 2026 (Saturday)

• Santo Domingo de la Calzada´s festivity day: 14 May 2026 (Thursday)

• San Isidro Labrador (Patron Saint of Madrid) festivity day: 15 May 2026 (Friday)

• End of lectures: 27 May 2026 (last day of lectures)
